Why US?
Because we really do care -
unlike some movers, we do not use temporary untrained workers. Our
workers are all employees who are careful, polite and helpful. You
will be pleased with our reasonable rates, conscientious service and
skilled care
of your possessions.
Some Ideas to Help You
To help you, here are some tips for a stress-free move,
besides having Phil the MOVER load, transport and unload your
items. Remember that planning is everything (next to packing!), so
contact us early on for scheduling and help.
-
If you don't need it - don't take it with you. Have a
garage sale or call a donation center.
-
Pack EVERYTHING. Give yourself plenty of time for
packing. There is always more than you think - check in closets, attics,
garages, under beds, etc.
-
Clothing should be left in dresser drawers, pillows,
comforters and cushions can be packed in large garbage bags - or used to
secure bulky/fragile items in boxes.
-
If you take anything apart, keep all the loose parts
together - nuts, bolts, screws, etc., and keep the parts with you for
assembly.
-
Don't wait until the last minute to schedule or
re-schedule your move.
-
Schedule your phone, electric, cable, water, and mail
to coincide with your expected move in date.
-
Have a general idea of where everything should go in
your new location.
-
The more items you pack in boxes, the less expensive
your move will be! Like size boxes can be loaded 5 at a time on a dolly
and then easily stacked in our truck. Single items (besides furniture) must be carried
individually and then be positioned separately in the truck!
